Lakers Youth Camp Grades 3 - 5

Fee - $60
The Webster Lakers Youth Volleyball camp is for any boy entering grades 3 - 5 that is interested in learning how to Pass, Set, and Hit like the pros. No previous Volleyball experience needed. Participants will learn the fundamental skills of volleyball through fun and creative drills/activities. Participants will also get to participate in competitive games against other boys of similar skill and experience. Modifications to rules and equipment, such as net height and ball weight, will be made to ensure developmental appropriateness and a positive Volleyball experience. Instruction based on the principles of motor learning and adapted from USA Volleyball.

Fee - $80
The Webster Lakers Volleyball Camp for boys grades 6-8 has been designed to provide a positive, instructional atmosphere to improve skills in one of Rochester’s most popular sports. From beginners to advanced players, each adolescent will receive individual assistance to further the enjoyment and skill of indoor volleyball.
The Daily Schedule will include:

stretching & warm-up drills

instruction of skills

demonstration of skills
-
individual practice team application
-
scrimmage.
Skills addressed during the week include:

overhead passing and setting
-
forearm passing
-
approach & attack
-
back row attack
-
blocking
-
serving

out-of-system

Webster Lakers Boys Volleyball
A One Webster Athletic Program.
The Webster Lakers Boys Volleyball program combines athletes from both the Webster Schroeder and Webster Thomas high schools. The program has collected multiple New York State Championships, Section V Championships, and Monroe County titles. Their teams have all been recognized with NYS academic awards since the recognitions inception.
